Little known Darren Mackie, the Aberdeen goalscorer who is currently at loan at Inverness, doesn't seem like the best candidate for a school to choose to back their reading campaign. First and foremost, there are clearly more famous players, even in Scotland, who could lend their name to such a worthy cause. Perhaps he was a student at the school, but even so, his answers seem more in favour of the "wait till it turns into a film" approach.
