In what was either a very silly move or, more likely, an unfortunately timed and completely unrelated social media post, Paul Pogba quickly deleted a Tweet and Instagram post this morning, in the wake of Jose Mourinho's departure from Manchester United.

The deleted Paul Pogba tweet read "Caption this. @manunited #manchesterunited @adidasfootball #heretocreate,' and was accompanied by a photo of himself with a raised eyebrow.

There was obviously many a raised eyebrow on the internet when the post went up, given Pogba's relationship with Mourinho but surely it was just a terribly hilarious coincidence. Why would you tag @adidasfootball and use the hashtag #heretocreate if not!?

Either way, Gary Neville was quick to provide a caption.

Can you do better?

It remains to be seen how Paul Pogba will get on with the new interim manager at Manchester United but given that Michael Carrick is only set to be in charge for 48 hours, the chances of them falling out are fairly slim. Pogba will however be interested in the fact that his former Juventus manager Antonio Conte is actually joint-favourite for the job, although Zinedine Zidane and Mauricio Pochettino seem to be definitely more favoured by pundits.
