Don't let it ever be said again that Scottish football cannot be entertaining.

While Manchester United were making light of any hope that there may be a giant-killing in their FA Cup tie against Yeovil Town, a Scottish championship tie between Dunfermline and St. Mirren may have passed you be.

Ok, so the match itself finished 2-1 to St. Mirren and only served to tighten their grip at the top of Scottish football's second-tier competition.

However, at the behest of his teammates, Dunfermline's Sean Murdoch was the victim of an admittedly decent prank.

Assumed he had been drafted in to talk alongside the likes of Chris Sutton and Ally McCoist on BT's panel for the night, his television debut didn't last too long.

Contacted by Victoria, an apparent member of staff with BT, Murdoch felt he was more than ready to make the step into punditry. However, before he could even offer one interesting thought on the game at hand, the curtains fell from his eyes.

Behind up, looking on merrily, the actuality of what was happening became clear - much to the delight of Sutton, McCoist et al.

It's certainly an inventive prank and we would only love to know what the Dunfermline man had done to deserve it. Ball is firmly in your court now Sean Murdoch.
