Watch: Two Friends Break Into The Emirates, Scale The Roof

Urban exploration is a rapidly growing phenomenon as everyday thrill-seekers  climb enormous buildings before uploading it for the world to see. A Youtuber, by the name of DyingLlama, recently scaled the Emirates - inspired by Nightscape's recorded break-in at the Olympic Stadium.

Last weekend, my friend Alex and managed something absolutely ridiculous.

We were able to infiltrate the Emirates stadium, which is home to Arsenal.

Getting in was definitely the hardest part. It was definitely a challenge but as soon as we were in we didn't really have any problems.

With relative ease, the pair enter from street level before making their way up the stairwell and fortunately coming across a door which was unlocked - an all too familiar scene for those of you who've sneaked into nightclubs in the past.

After meandering their way through dimly lit corridors, they turn the corner to cast their eyes upon the terrace. But what's the point of breaking into a football stadium if you're not going to get a better view of the place? Seizing upon the opportunity, they continue their ascent until they eventually reach the roof. The sheer scale of the Emirates becomes apparent.

On one side, the immaculately kept pitch. On the other, the streets of London.

Then it becomes apparent that they are not the only people within the stadium as they hear footsteps approaching. Despite their best intentions of getting on the pitch, realisation sets in that they need to get out before security are alerted to their presence.

As soon as my friend got down, all the lights in the stadium went on.

I'm so happy we got out before that happened because that would have been terrifying if we were inside.

But unsatisfied with the Emirates, they snuck into West Ham's stadium the next day: which will only add to the various security concerns raised since the beginning of the season.

Me and six other friends were doing parkour and we said 'oh, let's try the West Ham stadium, as a joke.

We headed to Stratford and somehow we all managed to get inside without any problems. All seven of us.

That was a sick weekend.
