The Sun have reported that Irish striker Evan Ferguson has been attracting interest from both Chelsea and Spurs.

Ferguson, who joined Brighton from Bohemians when he was 16-years-old, is currently in the midst of a breakout season after becoming Brighton and Ireland's youngest ever Premier League scorer when he netted against Arsenal in December.

He has since added two more goals and two assists, including a huge late equaliser against Leicester.

Chelsea are in the market for a striker, as they continue to battle through a goal drought, while Spurs will be looking to sign a long-term replacement for Harry Kane, should he move.

Could Evan Ferguson Be On The Move Soon?

"That's what I was told to do, come onto the pitch to make an impact and try to do my best," said Ferguson after his header against Leicester.

"I think every striker wants to score goals, so that's what I came on and tried to do...

"I think that's the belief and the confidence that we have at the minute, it comes right through the whole squad. Everyone knows that the game is never over and we always have a chance, today we got the point.

"I think so (we were frustrated to let the early lead slip). You can always take the negatives away from it, but the positive is coming away from home and them sitting in deep. That gives us confidence in the way we play. At the end of the day it's a good point to get."
