Yet another of Sam Allardyce's successors has enjoyed a strong start to their managerial reign. Although his competitive start is a few weeks off yet, Marco Silva's Everton enjoyed what you might deem a comprehensive win this afternoon.

Taking on Austria's ATV Irdning in a pre-season friendly, Everton pulled of a resounding 22-0 win - a record-breaking win for the club.

With 8 different goalscorers (and one coming courtesy of an own-goal), it is doubtful whether today's experience will do Everton much good ahead of their opening Premier League game against Wolves.

All the same, it certainly through up some strange goals. Although we're not going to go through the lot, let us start with perhaps the most curious of all. Whether he was merely fed up at conceding a goal every few minutes, this Nikola Vlasic goal is a bewildering sight.

Sebastian Schmid was the guilty culprit as ATV made the job even harder on themselves. Under moderate pressure from the Everton attackers, his reaction left much to be desired.

There was nothing particularly special about this Niasse goal, but you have to respect the doggedness of the defender who calls for offside as the 21st goal sneaks in.

Coming in all shapes and sizes, you can sit through the lot (along with some confusion over on/offside goals) below.
