The future of Radamel Falcao has been a topic of discussion ever since it became clear that Manchester United had no interest in making his underwhelming loan spell permanent.
While he never got the goals he was expected too, his workrate and obvious desire to see the team succeed endeared him to the Man United faithful, but despite him publicly declaring his desire to remain in the Premier League, it was doubtful that another big club would take the risk considering his high wages.
Well now it appears that someone is willing to take that risk, and that person is Jose Mourinho. The Chelsea boss has spoken of his admiration for the Colombian striker, and says he wishes to help him return to the form that saw him emerge as one of World football's most dangerous strikers during his time at Porto and Atletico Madrid.

When you consider Falcao's desperation to play in the Premier League, and Mourinho's latest comments, it looks as though Chelsea have found their replacement for Didier Drogba.
Falcao's role will likely be as a bench option or squad rotation player, but lets not forget just how effective himself and Diego Costa were as a partnership for Atletico back in 2013, so if the Colombian were to get back to his best, you have to feel that Chelsea is the perfect place for him to do it.
