While the January transfer window has been largely underwhelming in terms of major deals, it does offer you the chance to freshen up your Fantasy Premier League team. There is one obvious choice as to who you should bring in, even if his team is hardly firing on all cylinders at the moment.

Elsewhere, a double round of games for a pair of teams should also influence your thinking. Take a look at our tips for Gameweek 25.

Fantasy Premier League Tips For Gameweek 25

Gonzalo Higuain - £9.5m

While Chelsea suffered a disastrous result in midweek, Higuain will have the perfect opportunity to open his Premier League account this week. Huddersfield will travel to Stamford Bridge without a win since November 25th, and they look certain to be relegated.

You would fancy Chelsea to win this one comfortably despite their recent poor form, and Sarri golden boy Higuain will likely be the major beneficiary.

Rui Patricio - £4.5m

Wolves have been hit and miss at the back this season, keeping only six clean sheets so far in the league. You get the feeling that everything will come together for them at some point, however, and point that may arrive over the next few games.

They will not fact a top six side until mid-March, with home fixtures against the likes of Newcastle and Cardiff in the meantime. They will also travel to Everton this week, who are in a poor run of form of their own at the moment.

Patrick van Aanholt - £5.4m

Crystal Palace have looked greatly improved in recent weeks, even if they don't quite have the results to show for it. It seems like they are a team on the up, and it could be a good idea to get van Aanholt in your team.

The Dutchman is an attacking left back who can always chip in with a goal or assist, and with home fixtures coming up against Fulham and West Ham, a pair of clean sheets could also be on the cards.

Shane Duffy - £4.6m

Shane Duffy has enjoyed the best season of his career so far, acting as the lynchpin in a stingy Brighton defence. They have a decent home record, which has been blemished by losing their last three games at the Amex. Despite this, you would expect them to keep clean sheets when Watford and Burnley roll into town over the next two weeks.

The fact that Duffy is always liable to pop up with a goal on the other end always helps too.

Heung-Min Son - £8.6m

With Spurs facing a major injury crisis, Son is going to have to carry most of the attacking load over the next few gameweeks.  He popped up with a goal in the 2-1 win over Watford in midweek, and will be expected to repeat that feat over the next couple of games.

While fatigue may be an issue after his Asian Cup exploits, you would expect him to be amongst the goals against Newcastle this weekend.

Sergio Aguero - £11.3m

City dodged a bullet after Liverpool's disappointing home draw against Leicester in midweek, and cannot really afford any further slip ups in the title race. They actually have two matches in Gameweek 25, with a home fixture against Arsenal followed by a trip to Everton on Wednesday evening.

With wins needed in both of those games, Guardiola will not risk resting Sergio Aguero. Two games for the price of one for one of the best strikers in the league is too good of an opportunity to turn down, and he should be your captain this week.

Richarlison - £6.8m

Everton find themselves in the same situation as City, with two matches in Gameweek 25. While he does not bring the certainty that Sergio Aguero does, Richarlison is worth bringing into your team.

Home fixtures against Wolves and Manchester City are hardly the most straightforward, but you would fancy the Brazilian to find the back of the net over the next 180 or so minutes.
