FIFA 22 is 3 weeks away and EA have rolled out a lot of news about the game, from the gameplay to the licensing. EA have really done their best to build hype for the game. The most important thing gamers want to know is who are the best players? What team should they play with? EA have just gone and released the FIFA 22 ratings of the top 22 players today.

The main headlines from these FIFA 22 ratings is the big downgrades of some of the big stars, mainly Cristiano Ronaldo and Mo Salah. Manchester United striker Ronaldo got a downgrade to 91 overall, down 1 from his 92 in FIFA 21. Salah has gone down 1 to 89 overall for FIFA 22. Likewise, Salah's Liverpool teammates Sadio Mané and Virgil Van Dijk also got downgraded to 89 overall after Liverpool's disappointing campaign last season.
Lionel Messi once agains reigns supreme as the best player in FIFA as the Argentine is given a 93 rating. His new PSG teammates Kylian Mbappé and Neymar aren't too far behind at 91 while fellow PSG newcommer Gianluigi Donnarumma is 89 overall after winning player of the tournament at Euro 2020.
N'Golo Kanté is the only Chelsea representative in the top FIFA 22 ratings. The Champions League winner is a 90 overall. Tottenham on the other hand have two players in the top 22 as Harry Kane keeps his 90 rating while Heung-Min Son has been upgraded to 89. Kevin De Bruyne and Ederson are both in the top 22 as the Premier League dominate the rtaings, having 10 of the top 22.
Robert Lewandowski got an upgrade to a 92 overall, making him the second best player in the game. His Bayern teammates Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich also join him in the top FIFA 22 ratings.
