We're just under a month away from the first gameweek of the Premier League season. With many players' FPL prices released over the past week, a lot of people will have their teams carefully selected already.

There have been a couple of changes to the rules this year but one stand out addition is that there'll be unlimited transfers during the six weeks of the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

So that means, if you are having a shockingly bad start to your FPL season, you can change your entire team if you wish.

In other gameweeks where there's confirmed fixtures, transfers have been limited to 20.

When your FPL campaign kicks off, you will have one Free Hit to use throughout the season where you can make unlimited transfers during any gameweek.

Last year, FPL users were given two Free Hits to use due to COVID regulations and a number of players missing out and games being cancelled, but that has been slashed in half ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Users will also be given two Wildcards to use during the season. A Wildcard allows you to make unlimited changes to your team without incurring any point hits, regardless of what players you transfer in and out or the number of times you do it.

Triple Captain and Bench Boost remain the same as last year and can be used once a season.
