Watch: Frank Lampard Picks His Team Of The Season So Far On MNF
By Mikey Traynor

After Chelsea claimed their 56th point out of the last 63 possible on Monday night with a 2-1 over West Ham that was easier than the scoreline suggests, it very much looks like Antonio Conte's men will saunter over the line in the Premier League title race.

Sitting 10 points clear in March is an envious position to be in, and Chelsea's ability to score goals and get results leaves little hope for the chasing pack.

Frank Lampard did his best at hiding his happiness as a guest in the MNF studio, and after touching on how Eden Hazard had returned to the form that saw him named 'player of the season' the year before last, the Chelsea legend then named his team of the season so far with a number of interesting players included.

Alternatively, if you couldn't be arsed waiting for Lampard to give his reasons for each pick, here's who gets the nod in his team...

Will Keane will undoubtedly raise the most eyebrows, but it's a decent shout albeit a little from left-field.

While it may seem a tad early for this type of discussion, we're always told that the decisions are made long in advance so Lampard's opinion will likely be near enough to what, or who we see named in May.

As a pundit, Lampard is has done a decent job in the bits and pieces we've seen from him so far. It's still early, as he's still in that newly-retired player mindset of not wanting to say anything harsh or throw anybody under a bus, but once he gets over that and starts calling people out and taking names we're sure he'll be fine.
