Gary Lineker Had A Rather Optimistic Response To This Glastonbury Flag

Not exactly witty is it. The clichéd viewed of those Glastonbury festival goers is one of 'creatives' and free thinkers. The kind of people who aren't going to build you a decent wall but will pen a finely impassioned letter to the editor regarding the impact of climate change.

Those people may still be loyal Glastonbury goers but they've also been joined by the kind of people who write 'Gary Lineker Shags Crisps' on a flag and hoist it into the air for all of Somerset to see.

Lineker was asked for his stance on the soul stirring thesis and he summed it up quite well.

All ways look on the bright side of life and all that.

If that doesn't make sense then we should point out that the former Barcelona striker can't tweet anything without at least one reply mentioning the words 'shat on the pitch'. 25 years later Lineker is still living with the effects of that upset stomach against Ireland. At least he's continuing to take it in good spirits though.
