Daigo Nishi is a Japanese right back who hasn't been blessed with a striking mop of red hair. Other than the fact that he's a professional footballer, you'd have thought there was very little similarity between Nishi and Paul Scholes. Then the Kashima Antlers player did this against Sanfrece Hiroshima during his side's 5-1 victory and the similarities became abundantly clear.

Other than the distinctive lack of the Valley Parade backdrop, Nishi's wonderful strike was very similar to Scholes' classic volley against Bradford in March 2000.
