The World Cup is finished for another four years and we're all devastated. Some of that has to do with the fact that we won't know what to do with ourselves without it but the majority of it is down to the fact that the great Bill O'Herlihy has presented his final ever broadcast on RTÉ.

Whatever your feelings about RTÉ's coverage might be, there's no denying that Bill has played a crucial role in our sporting lives for as long as most of us can remember. For that, he is rightly bowing out as a legend.
