Yesterday we juxtaposed Nacho Novo with Criag Burley.
The former, a Spanish footballer signed by Rangers in 2004, fully embraced the culture of the Ibrox club, ingratiating himself with the fans at every turn.
Novo wasn't merely your average, common or garden badge kisser. He went well beyond the call of duty on that front. So much so that he turned up in Belfast to celebrate the 12 of July festival this month, appearing at parades, and attending bonfire nights and posing for selfies with adoring Orangemen.
Burley, on the other hand, a Scot who signed for Celtic in the summer of 1997, when the spectre of a Rangers ten in a row hung over the club like a death sentence. In his first season at the club, Burley helped stave off that dreaded eventuality.
But now, he makes no bones about having little affinity with the club. It was just a professional move. And he is brutally blunt about the current state of the Old Firm. In an era of badge-kissers it was rather refreshing to see.
Henrik Larsson's son, Jordan, currently lighting it up at Helsingborgs in Sweden, was linked with Rangers by a few rumour mongers in the Scottish online media sector today.
Wind of these troubling rumours reached Jordan.
His response implies that Henrik may have imparted a bit more of an Old Firm spirit in his son than is possessed by Craig Burley.
