“To be honest, he looks incredibly sharp and good, and really calm on the ball,” Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said when asked about in-form striker Darwin Nunez.
“He’s had good sessions since he’s been here, but we don’t want to force it now.
“Could he have started? Maybe, yes. But it’s much more important that he can start next week.
“That’s why we bring him on from the bench, and he’s looked really good.”
Aston Villa midfielder Boubacar Kamara has spoken confidently of side's chances on Monday.
“It doesn’t matter who we’re playing, we always want to win,” he said.
“We always want to go out there and get the three points. We’re not going to sit around, admire them and watch them play.
“It’s an important game for both us and them. We’re playing at home, so the emphasis is on us to go and win it.”
