After a tough loss to Italy on Friday night, Jim Crawford's men are in Tallaght again to take on Sweden. The chances of heading to the Euros are slim now but a win at home could give them a chance. Sweden are a very good side with some very exciting players. It should be a good match so here's how to watch Ireland U21s vs Sweden.

Ireland U21s vs Sweden is on Tuesday 15th November and kick off is at 7pm.

The match is live on RTÉ 2 from 6:30pm.

Last time out Ireland lost 2-0 to Italy. Italy were the better side on the night and deserved the win but Ireland had their spells. At times they looked like they could get through the Italian defence but the end product was lacking. Ireland found it hard to create chances and when they did they didn't take them. That loss has left them six points off a potential play-off spot with five games to go so each match is a must win.

There are luckily no injuries or player unavailability for Jim Crawford to worry about ahead of this clash. After not getting into the squad for the Italy match hopefully Armstong Oko-Flex will get a call-up and given a chance to show his form he's had at West Ham U23s this season.

Sweden sit at the top of the group, one point ahead of Italy. Their main talisman has been Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga. The youngster has scored seven goals in seven matches so far for Sweden U21s since making his debut in June 2021.

The last time these two met at this level was back in 2019 when Ireland came out 4-1 winners in Tallaght. Stephen Kenny was coach of the side at the time and Zak Elbouzedi (who now plays in Sweden for AIK), Adam Idah and Troy Parrot were among the goalscorers in the comprehensive victory. Hopefully it will be similar this time around.
