Martin O'Neill has culled his provisional 33-man squad to face England and Scotland.
The biggest name to lose out is Kevin Doyle. The 31-year-old made his MLS debut for Colorado Rapids during the week.
Three other forwards have been cut - Anthony Stokes, Adam Rooney and Simon Cox. Midfielders Alan Judge and Anthony Pilkington are the other two omitted.
According to the Sunday Times, this will be the 27-man squad to face England in a friendly on June 7th and Scotland in a European Championships qualifier on June 13th.
David Forde, Shay Given, Keiren Westwood, Darren Randolph
Richard Keogh, Marc Wilson, Seamus Coleman, Cyrus Christie, John O’Shea, Alex Pearce, Paul McShane, Stephen Ward
James McCarthy, Jeff Hendrick, Harry Arter, Glenn Whelan, Aiden McGeady, James McClean, Robbie Brady, Stephen Quinn, David Meyler, Wes Hoolahan

Martin O'Neill confirmed during the week that Robbie Keane would be unavailable for selection against England due to club commitments. He will however be available for the Scotland game.
