Ireland's Tactics Do Not Compute In Spain

It seems Marca weren't all that bothered researching Ireland's team for last night's game in New York. Their website's live coverage of the game featured a graphic of an Ireland team with four players named as 'undefined' and Shane Long operating as a central midfielder - despite the fact that he was three and a half thousand miles away preparing for his wedding.

Either the Spanish media were too pithily condescending to bother themselves with our primitive kick and rush approach, honed on the sides of a rain-lashed, rocky Atlantic crag or they were just so bamboozled by our revolutionary, cutting-edge tactical approach they simply could not define the beauty they saw before them. You decide.
