Just the three things wrong with the Irish Times mention of Paul Gascoigne in their 'Born on this day' feature today.

Apart from the factual errors that he wasn't born on this day (that's May 27th) and he's actually 46 not 47 they also hit a low blow of calling him an "alcoholic ex-footballer". While there's no doubt that Gazza has had serious issues with alcohol, it really isn't necessary to stoop to that level.
Besides on his actual birthday last month, he was looking quite well.
