There is a youth movement taking place at Old Trafford at the moment. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made developing a young players in his squad a major priority, with no shortage of first team opportunities granted to the likes of Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood.

While this season may not be going as well as would have been hoped, the club will hope they will feel the benefits of this policy in the long-term.

There are some very talented young players in that squad. Mason Greenwood possesses superstar potential, with Brandon Williams impressing at left back. However, they could be set to lose one of their most promising talents this summer.

Tahith Chong has now entered the final sox months of his contract. The 20-year old is free to speak to clubs about a free transfer this summer, with no shortage of interested suitors.

Tuttosport are reporting that Napoli, Inter Milan, and Juventus are all interested in the player. It is believed that the player is keen on a move to Serie A.

While United rate the Dutchman highly, there is no indication that he will sign a new contract in the coming months. The two parties have been at an impasse for some time now, while Chong is also seeking more regular playing time.

Chong has made seven appearances this season but is at a stage in his career where he needs to be playing consistently. That may not be on the cards at Old Trafford.
