After Newcastle and Leicester played out a dull 0-0 draw at St. James' Park, the Monday Night Football duo of Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville gave out their end of season awards and named their teams of the season.
Both agreed on Erling Haaland as player of the season, while there was a big disagreement over their teams of the season particularly Carragher's selection of Salah and Kane vs Neville's picks of Martinelli and Saka.
Laughs were shared however, with the biggest one coming when Gary Neville nearly forgot who Argentina played in the World Cup final.
This lead to a discussion on the season seeming like it's lasted for years, before Carragher gave a brilliant call back to the antics of Cristiano Ronaldo earlier in the season.
Neville: "It feels like about six years ago.
"I actually recalled an incident I did with Maddison I thought was last season, it was actually earlier on this season. It feels like this season's taken about ten years."
Carragher: "Ronaldo ignored us this season, I thought it was last season he ignored us."
