Jamie Carragher beautifully recreated his awkward moment with Thierry Henry when the Frenchman once again showcased his inability to not touch the person he is talking to when sitting near them.

The original viral clip occurred in October 2015, when news reached the studio that Brendan Rodgers had been sacked as Liverpool manager after their 1-1 draw in the Merseyside derby.

Although the pair did not try to recreate the incident, Carragher brilliantly decided it was appropriate to look in horror at the camera, before ensuing laughter erupted in the studio:

In his Daily Mail column in 2015 responding to the clip the first time, Carragher wrote:

I seem to have become an Internet sensation this week after Thierry Henry touched my leg on Sky when we found out Brendan Rodgers had been sacked.

I wasn’t really aware of it at the time, I was just in shock at the news. But by the time I got home, everyone was sending round videos of it and having a good laugh.

But I have a confession to make: the first time Thierry and I were on TV together, I grabbed his leg! So maybe he was just returning the favour...

The laughing and joking was welcome sideshow today as Carragher, Henry and, Souness had been tearing the Arsenal performance apart after they were obliterated by Liverpool at Anfield, 4-0.
