Liverpool edged past Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, and Daniel Sturridge was the difference with two goals either side of half-time.
It was at half-time when the Sky Sports panel consisting of Jamie Redknapp and Graeme Souness gave their opinions on the first half, and it was the younger of the two who saw an issue with the goalkeeper for the opener.
Redknapp accused Spurs goalkeeper Michel Vorm, who pulled off some fine saves to keep Spurs in the contest, of "bottling" a challenge with Daniel Sturridge, whereas Souness felt the keeper didn't react well to a slip.
That seems harsh.
Gary Neville is someone who openly admits he is harsh on goalkeepers, so maybe it's a former outfield player thing, as Vorm had no representative of the keeper's union to defend him. If BT Sport are going to have Howard Webb giving the referee's view during matches, then maybe we need Mark Schwarzer or someone giving the netminder's view.
Regardless, Liverpool march on to the quarter-final of the EFL cup, their third consecutive year of reaching that stage of the competition.
