The world saw it and we were horrified. German coach Joachim Low was caught on camera during his side's victory over Ukraine scratching his nether regions, and sniffing his hand.
The continent was appalled, and people took to social media to describe their horrifying reaction.

But the German boss has since apologised for his actions, blaming adrenaline for his vomit-inducing actions:
It was adrenaline and concentration. I will try to behave differently in the future.
I saw the pictures and obviously sometimes you do things subconsciously. It happened and I am sorry.
