While his punditry is no doubt entertaining, it's probably safe to assume that Roy Keane hasn't made too many friends in football since he first stepped into the Sky Sports studio.

We all remember his brief run-in with Jurgen Klopp and it feels as though he has had a go at most of the teams in the Premier League at this stage.

His latest victim was Spurs, with the former Ireland captain stating his belief that their current squad is no better than 'average' if you take Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son out of it.

This of course would lead to a hilarious fight with Jamie Redknapp, who in all honesty probably took the criticism of a team he made less than 50 league appearances for a bit too personally.

Spurs are back in action this evening with a fixture against Fulham, and ahead of of that game, Jose Mourinho was inevitably going to be asked about Keane's comments.

He actually had little to say on the matter, although he did spell out his 'respect' for Keane's punditry style.

You know I didn’t watch it and it’s not for me to comment on the pundits opinions I have huge respect for Roy I love to work with him when I was at Sky.

But independent of that a winner like he is I have lots of respect for Roy and his job as a pundit but I am not going to make any comments because if I do that I will probably be asked week after week with other people.

You are trying to take me in the direction of the previous question and I don’t want to do that.

We imagine the Portuguese boss was biting his tongue here.

A Keane vs Mourinho feud is exactly what we need to get us through the rest of this season, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
