Manchester United got back to winning ways with a routine 2-0 against Huddersfield thanks to goals by Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez today.

However, yet again United boss Jose Mourinho has used his post-match comments to have a dig at United fans and claim Fratton Park has a better atmosphere than Old Trafford.

It's not Portsmouth - I remember when I was in the Premier League and for such a small stadium, the atmosphere was incredible.

Here it is a bit quiet and is not very, very enthusiastic. But the players like to play at home.

When asked about Sanchez, Mourinho doubled down on his claim.

He played his first game at Old Trafford in spite of being a quiet stadium. The pitch is big and the grass is nice and obviously the players feel very comfortable playing here.

It is not the first time Mourinho has taken aim at the Old Trafford faithful. Last year he slammed United fans who booed his star signing Romelu Lukaku after a series of mixed performances.

Mourinho may just be trying to stoke the fire and prompt a reaction for Manchester United's next home game, against Chelsea and his latest rival, Antonio Conte.
