Jude Bellingham continued his dream start to life at Real Madrid by scoring an injury-time winner at home to Getafe on Saturday.

The England midfielder is still only 20 years old, although you wouldn't know it by the way he has adapted to playing for arguably the biggest club in world football.

With Real Madrid drawing 1-1 at home to neighbours Getafe, Bellingham slotted home a rebound in the fifth minute of added time to bring his tally to five goals in his first four games for Los Blancos.

To make the moment even more special, the game was Bellingham's home debut for Real Madrid, after they played their first three La Liga games away from the Santiago Bernabeu due to renovation works.

The youngster's goal was met with adulation from the home supporters, as he continues to justify the €103 million paid to Borussia Dortmund for his services.

Bellingham had already scored on his La Liga debut in a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao, before following that up with a brace in a 3-1 success against Almeria, and the winner as Carlo Ancelotti's side beat Celta Vigo 1-0 last week.

Playing with such maturity underneath the glare of the Real Madrid spotlight is really something special for someone so young and after his latest goal, people rushed to Twitter to express their disbelief at his exploits.

Jude Bellingham defies belief

While it's still early in his career, Bellingham has shown plenty to suggest that he can help Madrid to trophies, and even put his name in the hat for a Ballon d'Or some time down the line.

England fans will be licking their lips ahead of Euro 2024 next summer, while Irish supporters can only dream about what could have been if Bellingham had pulled on the green jersey, as his roots allowed. More on that here.
