Katie Taylor Had A Brilliant Twist On Her Usual Walkout For Joshua/Klitschko Undercard

Five fights, five wins, five flawless performances. Katie Taylor's professional career is going exactly to plan so far.

She defeated German boxer Nina Meinke in the 7th round at Wembley on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko, and after the fight her promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that US networks were 'all over him' trying to get her stateside, possibly to headline her own card.

But tonight she was very early on the bill, perhaps too early, and many fans who were expecting her to walk to the ring at 7pm were not happy to tune in and find the fight well underway, but that was out of Taylor's control and she was focused solely on the task at hand.

On her way to the ring, Taylor's music blared throughout Wembley, and while she did opt for AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' as she has done for all of her pro fights, this time there was a little twist at the beginning.

James Brown's 'It's A Man's Man's Man's World' played first, before a record scratch switched it up to AC/DC.

This is a man's world
This is a man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl

Well played, Katie.

Of course, after her first pro fight she admitted before that she let her brother choose 'Thunderstruck' as her walkout music, as she really couldn't be bothered and knew it was a crowd-pleaser. If that doesn't sum up her insanely focused mindset then nothing will.
