Kieran Tierney's Arsenal career has been stop-start but the popular Scottish left-back was back to his best on his return against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.
The Gunners picked up a 3-2 win to advance to the semi-finals of the competition but, in spite of Tierney's efforts, he looks destined for the exit door at the Emirates.
He arrived from Celtic in 2019 for a £25million fee but injuries have hampered his time in London, a recent hamstring injury keeping him out for the last six months.
It has already been reported by The Athletic that Arsenal will not opt to extend his current deal which is up in June, meaning he is likely to depart by the end of the season.
Celtic interested in resigning Kieran Tierney
Brendan Rodgers' Celtic are reportedly set to make a move to bring the 27-year-old back to Glasgow, where he enjoyed so much success.
Sky Sports News is reporting that the club will attempt to resign the Scotsman with a 'pre-contract and loan offer'.
In other words, Tierney could be loaned to Celtic from January before linking up with them on a full-time basis from next summer if a deal was to be agreed.

Tierney, who won five league titles with The Bhoys, has also attracted interest from 'a number of clubs across Europe' as per the report.
Celtic could potentially be light at left-back next season, with Greg Taylor yet to sign a new deal and Alex Valle in just on a season-long loan from parent club Barcelona.
