Giovanni Trappatoni has named three new player in the Irish Squad to face

Brazil in the upcoming friendly at the Emirates Stadium.Portsmouth's 22 year old Centre half Marc Wilson and Wigan's James McCarthy(pictured) get the callups having rejected calls to play for their home countries in the past, NornIron and Scotland respectively.

The other newcomer is Greg Cunningham who has played the once for Man City as a sub in the recent FA Cup game against Scunthorpe.

Portsmouth's Wilson has had a good day of it, all in all, with Steve Bruce said to be lining up a bid for the player to take him to the Stadium of Light. Wilson's only goal in a Portsmouth shirt came in the recent game against Man Utd, nice finish all the same.
