The sun was a blinding opponent at Oakwell for the Yorkshire derby between Barnsley and Leeds on Saturday afternoon.

Just minutes before Leeds claimed the advantage in the game through a Samuel Saiz goal, the away side's keeper, Felix Wiedwald, had a worrying moment of hesitation while claiming a routine bouncing ball in the box. The winter sun was clearly in the German's eyes.

To the rescue came a Leeds fan. From the stand behind Wiedwald's goal, the fan threw his cap. It undoubtedly helped him keep Barnsley at bay over the final 25 minutes of the first half.

For his moment of self-sacrifice - capless, he was the one blinded for the remainder of the game - the fan would later be rewarded. He was reunited with his cap and also the recipient of a gift: Wieldwald's jersey.
