Leeds United have history of bad crests but their latest offering may be the worst of any of them. Fans had eagerly anticpated its launch today, hoping it would be an improvement on the frankly awful one released just before the turn of the millennium. The club claim it took six months of research and consultation with 10,000 people before settling on what they've revealed today.
And what they unveiled was this:
Oh dear. Needless to say, fans were not impressed.
You know that's shit when a West Ham fan is genuinely feeling sorry for you

It’s atrocious. All that ‘research’ and that’s the best you can come up with?! It looks like something from Pro Evolution Soccer in the early 2000s. Awful!!

Good wind up lads. Now show us the proper badge.

The 10,000 people consulted on this should be named and shamed!!!

I thought in the interest of balance I'd try find some positive feedback. So I search the words 'Leeds crest love' on Twitter. Unfortunately this was the only match.
My love for Leeds began with Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka. I was then fortunate enough to live in Leeds for a short while and aim to move back when the time is right. This new crest is utter shite.... https://t.co/cBAqcfKZvU

To be fair, when we lower our expectations to 'like' there are a couple of happy people out there. A couple.
Looks like I’m in the minority here, but I’m liking the new Leeds crest. https://t.co/K3Q1wrbf3s
