Leigh Griffiths Is Taking All Sorts Of Stick For His Role In Celtic Xmas Advert

Celtic have kept up their annual tradition of producing rather unusual Christmas adverts for 2016, and they have delivered a work of art to rival John Lewis.

The clip features Brendan Rodgers appearing at the door of a family home with gifts, Scott Brown sitting at the top of a flight of stairs despite not being invited into a house, and Leigh Griffiths sat on a shelf dressed as an elf.

While Rodgers and Brown were allowed to appear as normal, Griffiths presumably drew the short straw and had to suit up as an elf, something Gordan Strachan indirectly accused him of being when trying to find reason for not starting him for Scotland recently.

And the inevitable slagging has followed. Celtic fans have taken great joy in ripping the piss out of their striker on social media:
