As Barca gear up for another summer of spending, Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has been earmarked as a primary target, and there are reports emerging that Ousmane Dembele may be moved on in order to make room for the addition of Griezmann. Liverpool

It is thought that Dembele will be moved on in order to free up funds for Griezmann, who scored two goals last night as Atleti won their 3rd Europa League in eight years.

The Frenchman has a €100 million release clause in his contract and Barcelona have been engaged in a very public courting of the 27-year-old year old over the past few months, to the extent that Atletico CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin has spoke out in disapproval of the Spanish side's pursuit of their star striker:

We're fed up with Barcelona's attitude. (Speaking) about the future of a player with a current contract just a few days before disputing a European final is an absolute lack of respect towards Atletico Madrid and their fans.

Regardless of Marin's comments it is believed that the transfer of Griezmann is imminent and according to the Catalan radio station RAC1, Barcelona have been shopping Dembele around Europe to see if there is any interest in the pacy forward.

The 21-year-old has struggled with injuries and form this season, having arrived from Borussia Dortmund for €130 million last summer and Sky Sports correspondent Mohamed Bouhafsi recently claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is 'obsessed' with the winger and would like to take the Frenchman on loan with an option to buy.

If Dembele were to move to Anfield, even on loan, it would represent a huge coup for Liverpool who have struggled with squad depth this season, relying heavily on the attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
