On the 55th anniversary of the Munich air disaster in which 23 people lost their lives, the Liverpool Facebook page has posted this tribute to those that died. The victims included 8 Man Utd players.
Their plane crashed due a failed take off on a snow covered runway. The team was returning to Manchester from a game against Red Star Belgrade in the former country of Yugoslavia and had stopped in Munich to refuel.
