Liverpool didn't start too well against Southampton in Wednesday's Capital One cup fixture. Sadio Mane's impressive first minute header gave the Saints an early lead, but Liverpool's hero - Daniel Sturridge is back and scoring goals.

Just a minute or two after he got Liverpool back into it with a nice finish, his volley past some questionable Martin Stekelenburg goalkeeping gave Liverpool the lead before half-time.

It's times like these that you're upset you won't hear the Nevillegasm again. Brilliant from two of the only players on the pitch never to have played for Southampton.
