Liverpool are seriously considering bringing back Welsh youngster Ben Woodburn to the club according to a report by Neil Jones of Goal.

The 19-year-old is the youngest player ever to score a goal for Liverpool but has struggled for game time at Sheffield United -who currently lie fourth in the Championship- and has only made seven appearances for the Blades this season.

Woodburn has even been brought back to his parent club recently in order to get some minutes playing for the U-23 team against Derby, his first competitive start in three months.

In other transfer news, Liverpool may have to wait until the end of the summer in order to pursue a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic.

Jurgen Klopp has been a long standing admirer of the American as he looks to plug the gap left by Philipe Coutinho almost a year ago.

However the German may have to wait until the end of the season to prise the 20-year-old from his former employers with sporting director Michael Zorc revealing he expects to keep hold of the midfielder until the end of the current campaign:

We have known these rumours for many years. We plan at least until the end of the season with him.

Pulisic's deal at the club expires in 2020, with Chelsea another Premier League club thought to be monitoring his situation.
