The mid-week lull may have settled into all aspects of life, but the transfer rumour mill never ceases. Today's speculation is as varied as it is interesting.

Welcome to the Balls Bullshit-O-Meter. It measures the validity of a transfer rumour with its scientifically approved formula of measuring the smell of the bullshit emanating from the morning reports. '1' is a fresh meadow with '10' setting off nuclear toxicity alarms throughout the land.

Wissam Ben Yedder (Sevilla to Manchester United)

liverpool transfer rumours

France striker Ben Yedder is yet another Man United transfer rumour to rear its head this summer. The Sevilla talisman is reportedly a target for the Red Devils, according to The Mirror. Apparently, United would be willing to trigger Ben Yedder's £36.5m release clause.

However, Ben Yedder's signature would be dependent on the future of Romelu Lukaku. Inter Milan are still interested in the Belgian striker, but are way off United's valuation of £75m.

Divock Origi (Liverpool to Real Betis)

liverpool transfer rumours

The unexpected hero of Liverpool's historic 18/19 season may be on the way out of Anfield. Estadio Deportivo reports that Origi has been targeted by Real Betis. The Belgian striker has a year left on his contract, and may be allowed to leave for under £10m. Even though he worked his way back into Jurgen Klopp's plans last season, Origi is still firmly second choice behind Roberto Firmino in the pecking order.

Nevertheless, Origi's wages may provide a stumbling block for the La Liga outfit, who finished in 11th position last season.

Sepp van den Berg (PEC Zwolle to Liverpool)

Recommended

In happier news for Liverpool fans, the Telegraph are reporting that Liverpool have secured the signing of Dutch centre-back Sepp van den Berg. The 17 year-old made 16 Eredivise appearances last season, subsequently becoming one of Dutch football's brightest prospects.

Van den Berg will join the Reds on a deal worth just under £2m, having apparently fought off competition from the likes of Ajax and Bayern Munich.

Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona to Bayern Munich)

liverpool transfer rumours

Speaking of Bayern Munich, the Bavarian giants plan to swoop for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. BILD report that the French winger is a target for Bayern, with the club having failed to lure Leroy Sane back to the Bundesliga. Of course, Dembele is no stranger to German football, having played for Borussia Dortmund for one season.

Dembele's future seems to be away from the Camp Nou, especially with speculation regarding Neymar's return to Catalunya. Also, Dembele may apparently be utilised in a part-exchange for the Brazilian.

James Justin (Luton Town to Leicester City)

From the heights of Barcelona to the even lofter heights of Luton. Leicestershire Live are reporting that Luton full-back James Justin is close to completing a move to Leicester City. The defender was one of the standout player in League One last season, making the League One Team of the Year.

The 22 year-old is set to cost £8m, slightly less than the £12m quoted at the beginning of the summer.
