Form Guide

Sitting more than twenty points behind league leaders Arsenal, this is a season to forget for Liverpool.

Klopp's men have not been consistent in their results. They were knocked out of all domestic cups and they lost the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions league at home to Real Madrid 5-2. It is crucial that this team must now have all their attention towards the league.

In their last Premier League game against Crystal Palace (0-0), Liverpool did not manage to score against a very well organised Palace side. Their lack of finishing has proven costly as that is the main reason they are in the middle of the table.

They are five points off a guaranteed place in the Europa League group stage. A win could get them closer to Europe however a defeat could make them go down to 9th position in the table if results go against them in other matches. Brighton and Brentford are only one point behind the reds and could sneak ahead if they both win their next games.

On the injury side, Thiago Alcantara and Luis Diaz will not be featuring in this game. Darwin Nunez, Ibrahima Konaté and Joe Gomez are also unlikely to play as they are not one hundred percent fit.
