Ireland celebrated a famous result against the World Cup holders in Gelsenkirchen last night. john O'Shea's late equaliser ensured it was a memorable night for the Boys In Green.

However, the Germans and the Irish generally have an amicable relationship with each other which meant that the action on the pitch wasn't overshadowed by any drama or violet confrontations in the stands. One merch vendor at the match seems to rely heavily on bitter rivalries to turn a profit. With this in mind, he decided to pander to an attitude held by some troglodytic fans.

It is remarkable to think that these scarves were being sold outside the Germany game last night.
