Louis Van Gaal Makes Big Call On Marouane Fellaini, Cue Man United Meltdown

Kane, Pedro, maybe even Neymar. The whispers were that a big name striker would be on the way to Old Trafford this summer to give Wayne Rooney some help in front of goal. As well as Louis Van Gaal has steadied the ship it seemed clear that more was needed to push United back to title challenger status.

Central midfield was addressed, the defence has started the season very well and it looked like a bit of quality up front was all that was needed to push things forward to the next level.

However, Louis Van Gaal has caused a bit of a stir ahead of tonight's clash with Club Brugge by confirming that Marouane Fellaini would continue on from last season and use his considerable frame to good effect up front rather than in midfield.

Everyone knew what was coming and, unsurprisingly it soon arrived. Cue mass panic.
