Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann has been embroiled in a transfer saga for almost two years now. He looked destined to depart the Spanish capital last summer until the club were hit with a transfer ban and he revealed he would stay. However, reports suggest it is only a matter of time until the French striker moves to La Liga champions Barcelona.
One man convinced of that prospect is Barcelona's Luis Suarez. Speaking to Radio Uruguay, Suarez suggested he was delighted to see Barcelona secure a player like Griezmann.
Barcelona always bring quality players like Antoine such as Coutinho and Dembele, they are footballers with a lot of quality, he has been playing at a high level for a lot of years. He is the leader of Atletico's attack and that is crucial. Here he is welcome, he doesn't come to take the place of anybody but with the ambition to do important things in the best team in the world.

Griezmann has publicly declared he wants his future to be decided before the World Cup in Russia, with the 27-year-old set for a big summer as part of a talented French side.
