Celtic manager Ronny Deila may be unhappy with the two goals that his side conceded at home to Malmo last night but at least he has plenty of ammunition to get his players going when they make the return trip to Sweden.

Speaking to Swedish media outlet, Kvällsposten, after the 3-2 defeat at Parkhead, Malmo goalkeeper Johan Wiland launched an incredible attack on the Scottish champions, branding the entire team 'pigs'.

Leigh Griffiths, who bagged two goals last night came in for particular criticism from Wiland after the final whistle.

They are pigs, all of them, that’s the way it is. You just have to try to stay cool and do what we have to do on the pitch. Leigh Griffiths, well, I don’t know what to say, he behaved like a child, tugging shirts all the time.

Although he may have been the most vocal opponent of Celtic's tactics, he wasn't only the Malmo player to have his say. Defender Rasmus Bengtsson was less controversial, however, he was also nonetheless stated his dislike of the Celtic tactics, particularly those of captain Scott Brown.

There were some players who talked a lot. You probably know who I mean. They have a captain and a few others who like to talk.

Goalscorer Jo Inge Berget, a former Celtic player, was significantly more diplomatic when Wiland's comments were put to him.

I don’t want to say that they are a group of pigs. They have some tough players.

If Deila can keep a lid on the aggression of the likes of Brown then those comments from Wiland may just be the ideal added incentive that Celtic need ahead of what should prove to be a very tricky trip to Sweden next Tuesday.
