The Squads For This Weekend's Man Utd Vs Barca Legends Match Are Fantastic

After what was the best summer ever for legends matches, it's good to see that Man Utd and Barcelona are keeping the trend alive even after the real football has kicked off.

United secured a 3-1 victory in the first leg of this two-legged legends battle back in June - where all participants were given a generous two months to recover for the return leg - thanks to goals from Jesper Blomqvist, Karel Poborksi, and Dwight Yorke, but the match was prehaps best remembered for Ronaldinho taking the absolute piss.

But now it's time for Barca to try and extract some revenge as they head to Old Trafford, and ahead of the match - which takes place on Saturday at 3pm and will be shown live on MUTV - both sides have revealed their squads for the game.

Sadly, Ronaldinho will not be making the trip, but Barca have called in the likes of Edgar Davids to help out, while Man Utd legends have made a big signing in Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Manchester United Legends:

- Bryan Robson (Manager)
- Andrew Cole (Assistant Manager)
- Raimond van der Gouw
- Denis Irwin
- Ronny Johnsen
- Mikael Silvestre
- Russel Beardsmore
- Jesper Blomqvist
- Wes Brown
- Bojan Djordjic
- Ji-sung Park
- Karel Poborsky
- Ben Thornley
- Louis Saha
- Ruud van Nistelrooy
- Dion Dublin
- Danny Webber
- Dwight Yorke
- Edwin van der Sar

Barcelona Legends:

- Albert 'Chapi' Ferrer (Manager)
- Eric Abidal
- Frédéric Dehú
- Luis Garcia
- Xavi Guzmán
- Jesús Angoy
- Gaizka Mendieta
- Andoni Goicoetxea
- Patrick Kluivert
- Juan Carlos Moreno
- Aloisio Pires
- Juan Carlos Rodriguez
- Simao Sabrosa
- F.X.Sanchez Jara
- Sergi Barjuan
- Juliano Belletti
- Jofre Mateu
- Edmilson
- Edgar Davids

Van Der Sar and Van Nistelrooy the highlights for United, while Kluivert and Davids will be fun to watch for Barca... Dutch footballers seem to age quite well.

Andy Cole in as assistant manager is a nice touch, we're hoping the captain's armband is given to Dennis Irwin but we all know he is the spiritual leader of the team anyway.

The main star-attraction from the first leg is gone, but both squads have strengthened and it should make for a fun match with some great highlights over the international weekend.
