El Diego unhappy that Buenos Aires bowling alley stopped playing music at 7am
A Diego Maradona bowling alley business party in Buenos Aires turned sour this week when the owner refused to continue playing music for him. In fairness to 'El Diego', it does sound like the bowling alley owner was being unreasonable. It was only 7am.
According to Dirty Tackle:
Accompanied by his 22-year-old fiance, Rocio Olivera, Maradona asked the club owner for just another half hour of sweet party jams. When the owner declined, Maradona said, "If you do not play more music, I'll have [Argentina secretary of commerce Guillermo] Moreno close this place because Moreno is with me and you'll suck ****." Unbeknownst to Maradona at the time, he was being filmed while he made these threats.
While that was (presumably) the night's low point, the highlight was surely Maradona showing off those famous football skills using a glass of beer.
