Dublin handed out a 12 point hammering to a fresh-faced Kerry in what was a cruel reminder of their comprehensive brilliance in every facet of the game. Defensively or offensively, running the ball or picking a pass, this Dublin outfit will overcome you whatever way you want.

The final score was 2-17 to 0-11, but Dublin cruised throughout. In the final moments, they played at their leisure, as the crowd cheered every pass and Dublin strolled around Croke Park.

It was two sides at very different points of development, with Dublin ensuring they will demand everything of their opposition just to stay competitive.

Kerry trailed by just three at half-time, but Jim Gavin's side clicked through the gears and were soon out of sight.

It sets up an extremely exciting encounter next week as Galway take on Dublin in Salthill, with both sides so far unbeaten in the league.

Speaking on Eir Sport, Marc Ó Sé was highly critical of several aspects of their game: 'Kerry were blowing.'

Very disappointing second half from Kerry. They never came out. There didn't seem to be a gameplan, there was no shape. The half forward line was non-existent.

Kerry take on Kildare on Saturday, as both sides look for much-needed points in a bid to avoid relegation.
