Ruben Amorim's Manchester United have delivered yet another shock result, knocking Premier League contenders Arsenal out of the FA Cup 5-3 on penalties.
While neither side could break the first-half deadlock, it was Bruno Fernandes who sensationally buried a breakaway cross and sent the away crowd absolutely mental shortly after play restarted.
It was a short-lived euphoria however, with the visitors Manchester United reduced to ten men when Diogo Dalot was given his second yellow and marching orders for a careless sliding challenge as the clock struck sixty.
Mere moments later, Gabriel Magalhaes equalised for Arsenal - making for a 1-1 draw that neither the remaining normal time, nor extra time could impact. Not even a 70th-minute Arsenal penalty that Odegaard struck low and left only to be denied by man-of-the-match Bayindir was enough to see Arsenal capitalise on their relative dominance.
Having taken the first penalty, it was advantage Manchester United as young Zirkzee stepped up for the fifth and decisive spot-kick. Nobody had missed except for Arsenal's Kai Havertz who failed to convert the club's second. Zirkzee, unphased by the pressure made no such mistake, burying the winner to deliver yet another uplifting day for Manchester United.

Arteta dumbfounded by FA Cup elimination
Despite their early dominance, better chances, and having played the final thirty minutes of normal time with a one-man advantage, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was absolutely dumbfounded when he sat down in front of the media following his side's dumping out of the FA Cup.
Arteta was speaking during his post-match press conference when he gave his reaction to the still-raw result, telling the assembled media his side will 'go home extremely sad'.
Incredible how you don't win that game, the dominance, the superiority in relation to the opposition and everything that we did to try and win the game. We didn't get what we deserved clearly, but there is an element that is about putting the ball in the back of the net.
We did it once, but with the amount of situations chances and penalties we had, we didn't and we go home extremely sad but I cannot be prouder of my players. We haven't got rewarded and that's the downside to it.
Despite the loss, Arteta was harbouring little contempt for his own players, with the manager proclaiming that his only message for Kai Havertz who quickly disappeared down the tunnel after Sunday's loss was one of love.
To him, and to all of them that I love them, that we all love them individually and as a team.
While they may be out of the FA Cup, a turn in fortunes for Arsenal and a better run of results could still see them competing for the Premier League at the business end of the season.
