Shane Duffy Brainfart Allows Moldova In For Equalising Goal

Disaster struck in the closing moments of the first half as the Republic of Ireland gifted Moldova a goal and, thus, a way back into the game.

There was an error of judgment between the Irish centre-backs, Shane Duffy and Ciaran Clark, with Clark rushing up and Duffy being caught out of position to allow Moldova's Bugaev in for a goal.
