First Patrick Roberts equalised for Celtic with 69:08 on the clock. Lionel Ainsworth put Motherwell back in front straight from kick-off as the clock read 70:11. Stuart Armstrong then cancelled out the Motherwell lead at 71:28, again straight from the kick-off.

The drama was not over there as Tom Rogic hit a late winner with a trademark strike from the edge of the box.
